HISTORY

The fun and lively sport known as Beach Volleyball began its journey to fame at the Olympics.
It became a medal sport at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996.
Beach volleyball was created in the United States.
Brazil is now the world leader in in having the most "Top-Class" volleyball players.

RULES

• On the volleyball court, there must be 2 players on each team.
• There are two sets before the final competition.
• First and second set go up to 21 points.
• Last set goes up to 15 points.
  

COURT AND BALL

Court Size : 16m x 8m
The height of the net and the size of the ball are similar to those used in Volleyball.
Beach volleyball is popular in U.S.A., Brazil and Europe.
